Also glad I'm doing my lighting recall myself now!

Funny. I thought I was a greedy SOB for thinking of that. Guess I'm not the only one.

I have a few fixes to do before we hit the road next week (all stuff that WW broke). So I'll take care of the lights then.

I sure never wished this on them though.

Does anyone know how to buy these items that are to be sold ? I am looking for 2 distressed rockers. And buy the way we are on our second ww and loved both trailers .Knock on wood no problems with either trailer . Question to some of you guys that are so happy to see ww fail how many million dollar businesses have you operated ? Some seem to eager to make arm chair quarterback comments ? I personally do not stand behind shoddy workmanship but with big business comes big challenges, there is inconstancy in everything from a hamburger at wendys, housing ,banking you name it, and it sounds that some of the ww owners on this forum would say ww tried to make warranty work at the factory rite and may be one of nails that is sealing his coffin .

Many more to fall yet, as the ecomony continues the slide, in all industries.
Investors will hang on to their money, and not buy Red companies.

So far there has been nothing but "Hearsay" posted here regarding Weekend Warrior. Believe half of what you see, 1/4 of what you read and nothing of what you hear and you'll be better off. Since most of what has been posted here regarding Weekend Warrior "Bankruptcy" and "Seizing of assets", has been indicated as something heard from a friend of a friend, I won't believe any of what I read on this message board until I see the real thing. I don't want to see Weekend Warrior or any other legitimate "Manufactured in the USA" company go under, but I honestly feel that rumors like these can contribute significantly to the failure of a struggling company by ruining consumer confidence. Perhaps we should give all of this speculation a rest and wait to see what really does happen.

Ditto.

IMO, ww will survive, as will many rv mfg's during these times. ALL rv mfg's are struggling, as well as auto mfg etc.

WW and Ragen are both going under. You will not find anything on BK listing, bank is taking over on Mon 7/21. The liquidation will start then. Giant RV is not buying them. Mark got too full of himslef and was an absentee owner for too long - out playing and not paying attention. Spending money like it was water. Now he is losing everything in his business and personal life. He got in over his head financially and hired too many criminals to get him out of it. You reap what you sow. I wouldn't buy parts from Weekend Warrior Gear either, the same monkeys are running the zoo there too. Vendors have been hurt and are losing lots of $$$ also. Warriors once great name is now on the auction block... if your trailer or motorhome is there getting serviced, I'd get it out of there FAST before the bank chains the gates and the guards the bank has posted won't let you in.

Nice first post.

I doubt his personal life will change at all. WW is a Corporation or he may have changed it to an LLC, but either way, he is safe personally. Being a CORP or LLC really helps you keep your personal stuff hidden and not touchable.

$60 bucks off aint much of a sale. I would say 1/2 price is more in line. MY FS3000 has been better than most trailers I think, only small misc problems not related to poor construction or design. Sorry to see WW take a dive, we love our trailer.

A friend of mine just came back from Camping World and was asked if he was interested in a new WW, they had great deals! He just went in to buy some tire covers. When I told him about WW going under, He was pissed. They made no mention of this to him, just trying to clear the inventory. Talk about shoddy practices. Good thing he walked out telling them he would bring his wife back to look.

I am personal friends with a few owners of RV dealerships in California. Believe me when I say that many times the dealers are the last ones to know of a factory closing.
Why? Because the manufacturer is sitting on units already ordered by dealers and the last thing a manufacturer that's going under wants is dealers to back out of taking coaches they ordered.

I called one of my friends who was a Sunline dealer to ask why Sunline had closed their doors. "What", he asked? It was two weeks after the closure and he was never notified of the closure and he had just had a new coach delivered a few days before that had been in transit just before the factory closing.

So don't be too quick to blame a dealer for not knowing of a manufacturer's trouble.
