IMO, ww will survive, as will many rv mfg's during these times. ALL rv mfg's are struggling, as well as auto mfg etc.
Might want to read page 2 of this thread. All done....

I'm probably a little strange but I try to be optimistic and am a bit of an oportunist too.
The day I heard about National RV going Chapter 11 I started shopping. I owned a great little B+ Lexington that was great but small and wanted to upsize to a class A.
I searched around and found a brand new Sea Breeze for just a little over cost. Full warranty on everything. I realize that if I ever need a front or rear cap or some body parts that can't be repaired with fiberglass I may be in some difficulty. But.....
It's a little different buying one just shortly before they go belly up but it isn't the end of the world either.
Everything I have on the National is covered by the mfg and I've even just last week gotten the Domitec ref recall work done at no charge. Atwood, Toshiba, Ford, Samsung, it's all covered.
It helps to be mechanically inclined and do a lot of preventative stuff yourself too. Or be rich......
I understand the feeling of being taken if you suspect the seller knew and didn't tell the buyer. That is probably not illegal but it is imoral in my humble opinion.
WW owners need to band together like National owners have and work to help each other out.
It's still a good product and anyway, after the warranty is out you'd be on your own anyway.
Like I said, not trying to make light of a bad situation but again it's not the end of the world.
good luck........

...by His grace...

WW and Ragen are both going under. You will not find anything on BK listing, bank is taking over on Mon 7/21. The liquidation will start then. Giant RV is not buying them. Mark got too full of himslef and was an absentee owner for too long - out playing and not paying attention. Spending money like it was water. Now he is losing everything in his business and personal life. He got in over his head financially and hired too many criminals to get him out of it. You reap what you sow. I wouldn't buy parts from Weekend Warrior Gear either, the same monkeys are running the zoo there too. Vendors have been hurt and are losing lots of $$$ also. Warriors once great name is now on the auction block... if your trailer or motorhome is there getting serviced, I'd get it out of there FAST before the bank chains the gates and the guards the bank has posted won't let you in.

Nice first post.

I doubt his personal life will change at all. WW is a Corporation or he may have changed it to an LLC, but either way, he is safe personally. Being a CORP or LLC really helps you keep your personal stuff hidden and not touchable.

UPDATE:
Server errors incorrectly identified this member and Hheadinjury to be the same person. I shouldn't have taken the bait so quickly.

Here's the contents of the original post:

Usually your personal assets are protected... BUT, when you make personal guarantees with the bank, get your business advice from criminals and leverage everything you own, game over... and again, personally I would not do business with Warrior Gear either... most of their inventory was not aquired through proper channels I have been told... hence the banks presence.

This is sad news indeed for me and a lot of Weekend Warrior owners.

I hope the WW haters and detractors can refrain from public gloating on this board.

Yes, it is official, closed as of today. The dealers will still be selling the coaches, but not with a factory warranty. Some are offering a 5 year warranty when you purchase, like a good sam or something.

So, I have been edited for telling the truth and the facts... and I am not an alias for anyone... just someone with personal dealings with Warrior - an actual insider who does know what is going on... I know the info first hand - not from friends of friends... I have been affected by Warriors troubles personally and just want everyone else to be cautious with their dealngs with them... you lose your house and job and you see how it affects you... good luck

Since most of the talk is of WW closing...

Would I be correct in assuming that all Ragen warranties and service work is suspended from this time also...???

The closest Ragen dealer is about 6hrs away....

We bought our trailer in Texas ...13hrs away... We had some hitch work redone and the dealer reimbursed us for that... So we haven't had any large issues or needed service...." KNOCK ON WOOD "
