Though you may like to see this, I saw this rig at OrangewOOD RV this morning. It’s 1 of 15 produced in 1990 its called a NAVETTE powered by a 4cly Subaru diesel engine.

Have a great week end!!!

Should be fairly fuel efficient, but I would suspect a bit underpowered. Nice looking coach though

It has to be way under powered for something that heavy. If someone is trying for mileage, the rear is not shaped correctly and neither is the sides. Also, the skin should be aluminum, not plastic. Urethane is a good product, but is not going to be structural and therefore is a waste of weight.

Underpowerd?

175 HP with a GVWR of 11,000 = 63#/HP which beats the pants off about 99% of the DPs out there.

The shape of the rear might not be ideal, but the clean lines, nothing on the roof and covered wheels all make for a very aerodynamic MH.

Looks lower drag than it is. Still has roof air and side mirrors. And the radius of the corners on the front sides and roof is much too small. Nicely smooth and rounded, but much too tight a bend for air to follow at highway speeds.Covering the wheels is a nice touch, but has been proven in wind tunnels to be more of a drawback (limited turning radius) than it's worth.

Looks real nice though.

I agree with Daveinet and KOG, that they left too many stones unturned when they designed this coach. They basically had a good idea, but it just needed additional refinement. I really dig the new shape of the rexhall AerBus. The awning actually retracts back into the sidewall of the coach. Chuck/Bagman.
