Be careful with biodiesel. There was woman on the Yahoo forum last year who broke down in a brand new View/Navion in Wyoming and raised h*ll on the forum. Turned out she had pumped nearly pure biodiesel into it. Of course, she never came back to explain how she had screwed up. Many people have regularly used up to B10 without any noticeable problems but anything greater and you're taking a chance.

If your RV is a 2006 model, it was NOT required to have a particulate generator and can burn any diesel fuel(LSD or ULSD) sold in the United States for highway use. If you want to make extra sure, just ask your local Freightliner dealer to verify that the Mercedes engine is old technology(pre 2007).
I've been driving a VW Passat TDI since August of 2004 and I have never had any trouble finding fuel for it. Most of the fuel in the Chicago region is ULSD now but since a 2006 would have to be able to burn either (ULSD was not on the market when they were released) you should have no trouble. If this is the MH you want, buy it and don't worry about fuel. You can read a Wikipedia article about ULSD at:
If you buy the MH then you might want to contact Dodge and see if they have any recommendations about additives or other adjustments for using ULSD. Since all the cool kids on the VW TDI forum use additives I have been doing so since we got the car. It may or may not be necessary, or recommended, but other than that I would not worry about the fuel. It seems like I see more and more Sprinters in commercial use and that would not be happening if they could not run reliably on US fuel.
It is very similar to the changeover to unleaded fuel for gasoline engines. If you had a older car you could burn either. If you had a car made after the changeover (and that is model year 2007 for Diesels) then you have to burn the new fuel.

From where I stand you are the one with the false information. I know a couple guys who drive tankers and they haven't even seen LSD in the last year or more. So far all you have done is say I lie.
All I will say is if you don't think that there are areas of the United States that have very limited supplies of ULSD, then you have not been reading many OTHER posters here on the forum. Texas, Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Colorado, Oklahoma, just to name a few states that have been reported by others here on the forum, of having difficulty finding ULSD. Here is a link to the official timetable for conversion, on page 2. Your particular area may be converted, but that is a small portion of the US. This past winter, there were only a couple of stations in the Rio Grande Valley that had ULSD and NONE of the truck stops had ULSD. Our trip from PA to FL, found all of the truck stops we used in WV, VA and NC, with LSD only. In GA, there was both at the truck stop, but the lanes were not marked so you might pull in to the one you don't want. I repeat, ULSD is not readily available in all parts of the United States.
