Picked up our new camper the end of April and have had two great camping experiences with our new VR1 - love the layout, especially the amount of storage and kitchen layout! While camping in DesMoines (yes, during the floods!) and being camperbound because of the almost continual rain, I noticed some minor cosmetic problems. Called the dealer in MI, he found a local dealer willing to work with us, and the bottom line is two weeks later we have our camper back again.
We're getting ready to go camping again and when we went into the trailer, one of the slideouts worked fine, but the second one seemed as if it was getting no power. We checked everything we could think of, read and reread the manuals - little help there. Checked the connections on the battery, found one connection was loose and tightened it last evening. Waited til this morning to see if that would solve the problem - it didn't. Can't see any fuses blown. Called the dealer, he suggested exactly what we did. We may have to bring it in again and I'd just as soon not have to wait another 2 weeks. Any ideas of what could be wrong and how to solve it?
Many thanks to you all for your advice and guidance in the past.

Did you remove the switch from the wall and check for loose wires? If it were mine, I would swap the switch with the other slide, just to rule that out too.

I had that problem with our bedroom slide last winter. Fortunately the BR slide motor is under the bed and easy to get at. I found the wiring inside the motor had come loose and was shorting out to the case causing fuse to blow. I rewired the motor and everything is fine. Just glad it wasn't the living area slide cause the motor is buried somewhere up above the belly pads and water tanks.

I had a similar problem, slide worked one trip then nothing, brought it in and they found the slide rollers frozen this caused the slider to not even power up.
