Is anyone out there full-timing in their toyhauler 5er with a family (kiddos)? We have decided (stupidly after buying our current 5er) that we should have bought a TH to tote around the 4 wheelers we are going to be buying soon. My current 5er is 40ft long and double towing an ATV trailer is out of the question. The next best choice would be to get a large TH to cart the ATVs.
We have two kiddos, one boy and one girl, both still young so a sense of privacy is not all that important.
We saw the large Raptor floorplans and liked the fact that the garage can be turned into a bedroom when not being used for hauling toys. We generally stay in one area for a good length of time so we can take the ATVs out and put them up elsewhere when not traveling.
Any suggestions, brands, floorplans?
Must haves are a front bedroom slide and separation (ie wall or doors) between bed and bath and multiple slides in the living area to make it as big as possible.
Thanks for the suggestions.

We are fulltiming in a KZ 41KG(43.5 feet) It has an accordian door between the bed and the bathroom, the toilet has its own door. Lots of space, a loft bed and a 10 foot garage with bunkbeds.

Great, one that I forgot to look at, the big thing was the vanity/sink in the bed area, no-go if at all possible.
Since I am new to the toyhaulers, what is going on with Weekend Warrior? From their website the Full Throttle FTL 4005 looks like the exact one I would love to get, if they are still up and running? I have heard not so good things about them too? Any input? My local dealer sells quite a few of them, or he did.

We did for about 3 months till the wife gave birth. And then it got hot, really hot. So now we are in an apartment waiting for our house to be built. We (I) really wanted a large 3 slider w/ garage to live in and have to play in later. But that did not happen. The best floorplans IMO. A large garage 12 or more feet, 3 or more slides w/ a side aisle bathroom. Check for lost of storeage.

The KZ is a pretty sweet floorplan, actually better than most I've seen. Looks like Weekend Warrior is out of the question. Any others out there (there are a ton!) Looking for something comparable to my Legends 5er. Whatever happened to Pilgrim Intl. toyhaulers?

check this one out Fuzion 403 In Texas be sure to click on the "get the sale price here"
I only have SRW, would have gone with a 403 but deceided to go with the 302. They have a nice inside and have lots of features. I think it would be easyer to live in a Fuzion full time. Lots of window openings. Having the dual beds that turn into a seating area would work well for kids. With the sliding door, you can put the kids in garage and still be able to watch them and they can go in and out not having to go through main living area.

What do you do for kids clothing and what not? There is a severe lack of kids clothing closets or storage space without putting it in totes in the garage.

I was thinking about doing something like that then, building a small hanging closet in the garage that way it could still be used for ATVs as long as I keep it small enough. The Heartland and KZ look pretty sweet, I'm dying to get some time to go to a dealer now.
Edit: Lucky me, as I sit here in the Amarillo Ranch RV park, a new Cyclone 3950 comes rolling in. I go and talk to the owner and he invites me and my wife to take a gander and all I can say is holy cr@p! That is one gorgeous TH! Definitely doable for full-timing. After looking at the Heartland website, I think the next floorplan up (4012 I think) would suit us a little better. We won't know until we can go and look at one up close and personal. Still going to look at the KZ as well. Don't know how I'm going to trade mine in for a new TH though, that may be a problem, anyone want to buy a Legends 5er?
