whenever I log on to RV.net I gete a pop-up that says I have an internet explorer script error & asks do I want to continue running scripts. This also happens at some other sites.
what does this mean and does it mean that my laptop has a problem?
thanks! chuck

Try this result from a quick Google search:

* Open Internet Explorer
* Open the Tools menu
* Select the Internet Options menu item
* Open the Advanced tab
* Check the box next to "Disable script debugging
* Remove the check next to "Display a notification about every script error"
* Click the OK button

Other than magicbus' helpful comment you could also make sure you have the updates to IE or better yet, upgrade to Firefox 3.

They are not a big deal except that you will be missing some functionality from the web site. I think in most cases it is trying to do some fancy little display but for a variety of reasons it won't work. You should make sure your Java engine is current as this is the most common cause of a script error.
