When I was taking down the canvas of my Hybrid, I heard a couple of threads pop in upper corner of tent, where the frame tucks into the corner. I was surprised that the thread was weak or dried out. This unit is only 1 year old. To keep this from happening again, is there a product that can be used to keep these threads soft and pliable. I have thought of beeswax. Any other suggestions from those who have owned either a pop-up or hybrid. Thanks

I'd get a set of popupgizmo's or a simular thermal blanket to protect the tenting from that Texas sun. I've had two Antigua StarCraft HTT's and never had issue with the tenting but did use the gizmo's every trip out.

Maybe check with your dealer as well about the stitching. Maybe a warranty claim to replace it is in order.

Hi
That's exactly what happened with my Surveyor 180T last year. It did fall under the warranty, and Forest River replaced both tent ends free of charge. Don't know about any products to use to prevent it from happening again, I hope someone here knows because I'd like to get some too
