Which portal are you using? (Woodalls, Good Sam, RV.Net, etc.)

Let me know and I'll take a look.

What do you see at the top right of the screen?

What you describe sounds like the RV.Net cookie is corrupt. I would exit the forum and clear the cookies, which should cause you to have to log in again.

If that doesn't clear up the problem, let me know and I will report it to the technicians. Meanwhile, you can switch to one of the other portals.

Alternate "portals" to the RV.net Open Roads Forums

You have the screen for someone who is not logged in. Yet, you can post, which requires you to be logged in. Sounds like the cookies are corrupt.

Leave the forum but keep the browser running.

From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

In the center of the General Tab, click on the Delete Cookies button.

One caution, if you use sites that require logins and you never logout, then you should know those passwords before deleted cookies.

It would not be a bad idea to Delete Files also.

still nothing ???? i have to admit, by now i would have thought someone from rv.net would have at least emailed a reply being that i originally emailed them over a week ago. as for the above solution that i delete "corrupt cookies" , that didn't fix the problem. aside from what i have done, does anyone have an idea how to fix this ???
