Hi All campers,
I am looking for a camp ground that has a shooting range at the camp ground or very close, I know of Knob Creek in KY, http://www.machinegunshoot.com/ http://www.knobcreekshoot.com/ that is the only one and it is in the spring and fall, I go thier. any others?,
Sorry for you people that were looking for a mad man story that told you about someone shooting up a campground, just read the paper. They blow them storys up to much. BUT never tell about how Guns save lives, like my life was.

Anthony Chabot Regional Park in the hills above Oakland, California
has a range for rifle, pistol, and shotguns. Only open friday through monday.

Algonac State Park in Michigan has a skeet range between its two campgrounds. Gets real busy in the fall.

There is a campground close to Lansing Michigan that is operated by a shooting club that has many, many sites with water and electric with a nearby dump station. Sorry I do not remember any more deatils. Hopefully, some one will chime in here with more details.

There's a new shooting resort in Utah, The North Spring Shooting Range and Recreation Area.
There's camping there but it's dry camping, no tables, fires or waste disposal available. I haven't stayed there, but it did get a positive write-up in the local paper.

The double adobe RV park just out side of Bisbe Arizona has a skeet and trap range. Only problem is, it is full all winter with shooters. Don't think the even advertise anymore, but if you like to shoot skeet or trap and stay in that area, look them up.

The one in Michigan is South on Mason, MI on U.S. 127 it has water and electric and a dump station. I don't have the name handy but it is open to the public and is a very large shoot range.

Have you checked out Missouri Conservation shooting ranges? Andy Dalton close to Springfield off of I44 is a first class shooting range - not sure of the campground you would probably have to stay somewhere close to Springfield
