Wildwood campground is located 14 miles off exit 161 on I70 if you were heading through St. Louis towards Columbia MO from the IL side

They are a private 1200 acre campground where everyone owns their deeded lot. They do have an outdoor shooting range which appears pretty basic although I see folks target shooting quite often.

I believe they are a Coast to Coast affiliate as they do have overnight spots near the security gate. They may allow you to target shoot even if you are just staying on Coast to Coast for a day or so.

Their office number is 573-676-5317

Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida,
part of Broward County Park System.

They have their own shooting range - it is huge!

Also remote air plane area.

Also huge mountain biking area.

Also a swimming pool.

Also fishing in the canals along Alligator Alley at the Everglades........

Oh yeah, and about $24 a night!

A timely topic.

This past Saturday I was at Raahaugie's in Norco, CA. It is
a shooting park right on the Santa Ana river at the OC/Riverside
county line. I spend a while talking to the owner.

For some time the owner has allowed camping before events. My
family camped on Friday night, and we have camped there for
years for other events. There are free water and
electrical hookups, and there is no cost to camp. Heck, there
is even a fishing hole where my kids caught a catfish. On the down
side, it is a shooting range, so you can expect gunfire. Across
the way is a cattle feed lot, so keep that in mind.

Occasionally the local PDs will train at night, and things might
get out of hand. The Irvine PD accidentally light a car on fire
on Friday night. That caused some havoc.

Mike, the owner, is going to expand and formalize the camp+shoot
concept, probably this fall. There will be full sporting clays,
plus SASS events. Pistol range too. Camp fires will be OK,
and I expect there might be an occasional pig roast. (Just a guess.)

Expect no 50A hookups, and no sewer. My guess is alcohol will be
prohibited at all times. No showers, no pool, no bathhouse.

On the northeast side of LA is Burro Canyon Shooting Park.
You can camp, and MANY people do, for free on the BLM or FS
land just outside the park. Although it seems totally illegal
to do so, the FS restricts use of the nice, but small, campground
nearby to those with handicap plates.

National Rifle Association's Whittington Center just South of Raton, NM is a great place to camp and shoot. There are ranges to suit whatever your shooting hobbies/habits are. There are 2 campgrounds with great views to the South and you camp at about 7800 feet. I have spent time there teaching and highly reccomend the facility.
They have a web site with additional information, but if you go plan on spending time as there is lots to see and do in the area.
