Have one on our rig. Have had no problems, keeps rain out while letting the air in. They are easy to install, and I keep my vent cracked open all winter for ventilation. Works great.

Love them, I am able to leave my vent open all the time except when running the A/C or heat.

We have two of the Maxxair vent covers and love them for all the reasons others have stated above. They seem to be proof so far against hail, too, better in my (limited) experience than just the flat vent covers alone, although it's only been a couple months since installation.

The first Maxxair vent cover was put on without the hinged vent cover brackets. I have since changed both to the hinged for easier access when cleaning, etc. The hinged vent cover brackets were an extra for an additional charge.

The ONLY downside I've experienced with the covers is that it reduces the light that comes through the vent a little bit. I have the standard white cover over the bathroom, and a powered white cover over the living area. The trailer is a little darker inside now during the day.

They are great though, I have not closed my vents since installing the covers, and they would be the first thing I'd install if I bought a new RV.

After having a vent cover broken out by a hail storm and the bed soaked I installed Maxi vent covers. I have been through 3 more intense hail storms with no vent damage. So, yes I really like the vent covers.

Have three of them on my current rig and all my previous units had them. 20 min install at worse. Wouldn't have a rig with a vent openings without them.

I had 2 Maxxair vents on my previous TT and I didn't like them. They did I good job of keeping the rain out but also cut down on the amount of airflow. I have Fantastic Fan vents with the rain sensors and I like those better. Even if it's raining hard I can still leave them cracked open and get sufficient ventilation without getting wet.
