Any word from Keystone on the 2nd request?
Here are a few post from Trailer Life and Keystonecamping website of people having the same problem.

I am spreading the word to as many people as I can using the internet to alert people to Keystones lack of quality control and poor customer service when they have a know design problem. Over 200 people have viewed my post on Trailer life and Keystonecamping.com website as of 7-22-08.

Hi,
I have 2008 Keystone Passport 285RL. Towed it several thousand miles no problems....but... I noticed delamination just below door where outside stove top is located. Felt under the plastic wheel well cover and the fiberglass covered luan plywood extends under the bottom of the floor into the wheelwell. Reach under your wheelwell plastic cover and you will feel the wall extending into the wheel well about an inch or two. Mine was wet and found the rain water from the wheels throwing water upward soaks the plywood and wicks up the wall causing delamination. I bought a caulking gun and a tube of Silicone RTV and some dishwashing gloves and "painted" the bare wood with the silicone and covered the bare end edges so water will not get into the wood. Also sealed with a bead between the plywood and the metal housing in the wheel well. Put the plastic trim back on and it should be ok.
I called Passport dealer and they said they would take care of it but I wanted to save further damage until I got back home. This may save having it returned to the factory and new walls installed.

Good Luck

Well today I checked our Everest to see if it indeed was any better then the Passport; Ha! It has the same exposed luan plywood running the length of the large slide as well as the no slide wheel wells. Totally exposed and waitin for water....I cannot believe Keystone does such butcher work. I really can't.
The new and most recent problem with these things is the bedroom slide floor rotting out from water coming in through the poorly sealed roof. And now this?
What garbage; what absolute garbage!

Thank you for bringing that to my attention!! I just checked mine and although no damage has been done yet, I plan on treating the exposed cut edge with something, even paint or varnish would be better than nothing at all. Mine was cut very sloppy around the fender skirt and I need to trim it out before I protect the raw edge, I can't believe that I missed this all this time, thank-you again.

We have delamination on a Keystone Outback my friend just bought. It is only 7 weeks old. I will have to check for this problem before more damage happens. You have me worried about what Keystone is going to do for him.

2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. Ahh man! My wife just showed me a Keystone Outback Travel Trailer she likes after searching forever. Now I have to tell her we can't buy it because their service stinks.

Thanks for the post though.

After 2 recalls (tires, propane system) our friends are still happy overall with their Keystone.

I don't think they are all junk, but recent posts about the Passport which is the Zep replacement leads me to believe that the same poor construction standards are being applied to the Passport line.

Hopefully you all find some resolution.

Keystone will most likely, treat you right as you are still in warranty. But beware when warranty is up. It is up... Even if it is a know problem.

I am quite happy with my Keystone Hornet. I don't think I will join your Keystone bash. I will say I hear more complaints about the Passport than any other Keystone product.

We're looking for new but stepped into a pre-owned 2007 Passport the other day and were surprised by the very soft floor. Sorry about your troubles.

Hey, Dont get me wrong. I love my Zeppelin. And I think the Passport is a pretty desent trailer from what I have seen.

After having said that when you expose a major design problem and give them proof. pictures, other owner claims and they just say sorry. There is something wrong.

We just returned from 7 days in our Zepp. 700 mile round trip without a single problem.
Thats great. Keystone should be big enough to correct there mistakes.
