I know that in 2 years, that's what my kids will be saying: "Grand parents missing". Retirement is right around the corner, and we are trying to "practice" as much as possible.

that was my thought! I would love to leave and not look back.
Don't think you can do the 5er rental like you said but you can certainly rent a MH or a cabin.

I thought the same thing....missing RV and grandparents.... Then after thinking another second I thought... No the grandparents bought the 5r and the grandkids miss them because they are fulltiming. See what a subject line can make you think.

I would also consider the cabin rental. These are park models, and they are beautiful, nicely landscaped and in their own section. Seems to me they were about $700 per week. I would think that if you even found an RV dealer that would rent a fifth wheel, after paying the rental, transportation, cleaning fees, insurance, and any other miscellaneous fees, the cost would be even higher than that.
