I'm going to Pismo next week and pulling a 28' Rampage TH with a Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel 2wd. Has anyone used Steve's towing to get out onto the sand? How much? Thanks

Im not sure what it cost but I wouldn't worry so much there are always people ready to help pull you out. I always get stuck and have never paid to get me out. Just have some cold beer and maybe a 20$ in hand.
A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

My truck is a 2wd as well. I always park right on the waterline of the high tide. Most of the time the water comes up right under my trailer. This makes it real easy to pull out at the end of a trip. This also makes a lot of rust on your lug nuts etc.

well I just got back... and I tell you, I'll never go back in the summer again. Packed to the rim! I love how people claim acres of public land with caution tape. Me and the neighbors could shake hands through our windows if we wanted to. I didn't let the kids ride at all I was to afraid the would get run over.

Summer time is worst time to go. The very best time is after the end of October when they take down fencing from pole 6 to pole 8.5. This makes for a lot better camping and all the summer vacations are over. When we go after the fencing is down we camp at pole 7 and usually the nearest trailer is about 50 yards away. Makes for way better camping and we do not have the summer time idiots and out of state vacationing dumb ****.
