Next month I'm heading down to Corpus Christi for a few weeks. I'll be ready for fuel around the El Paso area and was considering crossing the border at Juarez just long enough to fuel up. Anyone been there and done that? Opinions?

Thoughts about the same..... My daughter graduated from NMSU I will be in Las Cruses for two weeks buying her a home (she took a job for two years at a local hospital while they pay for her MBA)

I would like to drop into Juarez to get 130 gal I need to know best Pemex and the price of fuel.

Whenever we are in Mexico we always fill up on diesel before we come back across the border. There is a heck of a difference in price per gallon. The diesel in Mexico has a higher sulfer content but it does not hurt my 99 300 Cat any. I have no idea how the newer rigs handle the high content sulfer diesel.

Hope you have a pass port to return back through U.S. customs..
Often the line to return is over an hour long.
Yes you will save $$$ but it could be a hassel.

I would research the crossing at Santa Teresa NM, it's almost adjacent to El Paso. As I recall, you take Redd Road from I-10, and avoid all the traffic/hassles at the El Paso crossings. I would call the airport office at the Santa Teresa airport, they should be able to tell you if there's a handy diesel place right across the border (there).
Just make sure you do NOT have guns, NOR any ammo. It's a major no-no in Mexico.

You should check your engin owners manual, especially if your motor is 2007 or newer. May not be able to burn eanything but ultra low sulfur diesel.
