We are in the middle of a long trip with our new 09 Wildwood 30 BHBS. Ive ran into a weird problem with the front door. If the trailer is slightly out of level the door is VERY hard to open. For instance if you raise one of the stabilizer jacks too high the door will become hard to open. I cant believe that is either right or acceptable. Ive had 5 other trailers and none of them have done this before. Has anybody else run into this problem and how did you address the issue with the mfg?
Thanks

My entry door on our Jayco will stick from time to time. I haven't had the chance to adjust the door (if possible). Mine sticks just at the latch, not anywhere on the frame.
Good luck!

I cant see how this can be an adjustment issue as it will be fine one time, barely stick the next time, then you have to almost pry the door open the next time.

Our new Jayco has been this way since we have owned it. When all the jacks are down and it is close to level it is fine but the door will stick at the latch if the trailer is torqued. Such as one tire being higher than the other three or one jack being way tighter than the others. It has not been a major source of contention for us since it is easily remedied by having the trailer level or close to level. Someone else has probably experienced this also and will be along shortly to tell you how they fixed theirs.
Have fun on your trip!!
