Hi, we are just beginning to look for a new travel trailer. We will be towing with our GMC Sierra Z71. We are looking for something with quad bunks, and queen or preferably king bed. Also, we definately want the U shaped dinette. Any suggestions?

I have the 31BHSS from PUMA - it has everyhting you mention, but might be a tad heavy @ 7700# dry - for your truck. The quality of the PUMAs isn't the best but for the price I don't mind fixing a couple of minors things here and there.

You might want to look at this thread since it's basically the same question you have...lots of answers already.

check your combined vehicle gross weight before you even go looking. You will need a fairly long trailer to accomadate all things you say you want. Be perpared to compromise. It would help if you included the spec on your tow vehicle. Engine, transmission, rear end, its weight ratings and so on.

Can you give us a little more information on your truck? What's the engine size, gear ratio, transmission? Does it have the tow package?

It is a 5.3 LV8 with the tow package...not sure about the gear ratio or transmission. Will have to ask DH.
