I know that many of you have been praying for Skip. And, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

But, Skip went home to be with his Lord yesterday morning. It was instant. He was recovering from the surgery and was supposed to come home yesterday. Could have been a blood clot, heart attack, ?????, but, they assured me it was instant and he did not suffer. I am thankful for that.

I am so lost. He was not only my husband, but my very best friend, my soul mate. He was such a kind, soft spoken man. He always told people that there was no "step" children in our family, he loved my boys and grand kids as if they were his own. The boys are heart broken, even though they are adults. They loved him so much.

My family is hurting, so please keep praying for us.

Sleep just won't come tonight, so I turned to my friends here. You are a great bunch of people.

I am so sorry Jackie. There are never the right words to say at a time like this. Just know that you have a lot of friends in this forum and a lot of prayers will be said for you.

God Bless

Oh Jackie! I'm so sorry to read your post. Words are so difficult to come by at times like this. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Skip will forever live on in your hearts and memories. May the Lord keep watch over all of you and hold you in his loving embrace during this most difficult time.

Jackie, I am so sorry to hear of jack's passing. We have been praying for him for some time. Please accept our condolences. I know you have a strong family for support but please do not hesitate to ask if there is anything we can do for you.

rest in the peace of knowing you will see him again and I am sure he is patiently waiting for you as you mourn him now.

Father, grant this family peace in this time of loss as they adjust to a life of change. Bring them from grief to mourning to spiritual and emotional healing that their lives and testimony will honor and glorify you as Jack did with his life as he walked here on earth. Bless them now Father, AMEN

Jackie, I know that no man's words can heal your hurt but please know many are offering words of comfort and prayers of support.

in His grip, Dave

When I get to heaven,
I shall see three wonders there.
The first wonder will be to see
many there whom I did not expect to see.
the second wonder will be to miss
many people who I did expect to see.
and the third and greatest of all
will be to find myself there.
