I believe I've come down to these two TTs. I've had a Jayco popup before and like the company, but most of the features I like better on the Trail Cruiser - double sink, larger dinette, lav. in the bathroom, storage door for under bunk, etc.

I'm down to these two campers and they'll cost me about the same. I get the feeling the Jayco may be constructed better, but the Trail Cruiser has nicer features.

Comments? Remarks? Suggestions?

Thanks.

Jayco is a better quality trailer in my opinion. I really like my TrailCruiser but remember seeing small details in the Jayco that quality is obvious.

When stepping up from a pop up, go for as much room as you can get. You don't have the floor space anymore because of the beds. That was our realization going from a pop to a TT.

I'd get the 21RBH

already there! thanks. I'm trolling with a wide net here, hoping that some who have also looked at both or are owners of either can chime in.

I sold my popup last August. I started looking at popups again, then went to hybrids, and settled on TTs. We're still "camping" so sleeping close to each other is fine with us. I'd rather give up some bed space to have a complete enclosed trailer with more storage space. JMHO. I could "technically" tow something a bit heavier and longer, but I'm wanting to be very conservative in buying something, so that I don't feel the need to trade up TVs as well. My TV is only used for family outings and camping trips, no longer used as a commuter, so I want to keep it for a while.

As you can see in my sig we've owned both TrailCruiser and now a Jayco. When we moved up from a popup to a hybrid Jayco didn't have a floorplan we liked. We really liked the TC floorplan. We had the TrailCruiser for 2 1/2 years and never had a problem with it. Construction was solid, and we liked the features too. When it came time to move to a TT Trailcruiser didn't have a floorplan we liked, Jayco did, so we bought a new Jayco. I don't think you'll go wrong with either one.

It sounds like you are leaning more for the Trail-Cruiser. Go for it!

As you can see by my signature I have had both a Jayco and an R-Vision Trail-Lite hybrid. Personally I think the quality of the two isn't that much different. The Trial-Lite was 7 years old when I sold it and everything still worked great.

I really like my Jayco but would buy another R-Vision model in a heartbeat if I found one I wanted.

If you like both equally, let the warranty be the deciding factor.... choose the one with the longest warranty.

well, that's just it, I like the Trail Cruiser better, it has the following advantages:

better tires
larger dinette
sink in bathroom
storage door under bunk
double sink
electrical connection

However, I'd give those features up and go with the jayco if there's a quality difference. If they're neck and neck, the TC will get the nod..

The R-Vision product use to be the butt of jokes (like Hyundai) but they seem to have come a long way in the few years since Monaco dumped some money into them and started using a new facility that builds HR and Monaco products neck and neck.

I would go with either but Jayco gets the warranty nod.
