I've read multiple postings about clogged black water valves, but my problem took me by complete surprise.
Returning from a recent trip in our 2001 30' Jamboree we ran our fresh water supply dry. Then, after refilling, I found that the fresh water wouldn't flow at all!
This is bad. The fresh water outlet is very difficult to access so I can't just reach in there and undo the fitting. Also, the tight right-angle at the outlet makes it impossible for a drain-snake to get in there.
ANY ideas? We are hoping to hit the road again on 01 August, lack of fresh water will make a very difficult trip
One idea would be to disconnect the waterline as close to the tank as possible and blow LOW pressure air towards the tank and see if you could remove what ever is plugging it (probably some minerals from the water and seeing that you pumped it dry).

Mobyman, If the pump is running but not building enough pressure to run water, it might be algae plugging up your pump screen. I had that happen before and it was easy to fix, right in front of the pump see if you have a clear filter in the line, if so it unscrews from the pump and may need cleaning.
Many moons ago in the 70s my dad did this. It ran dry and killed the pump. if that is the case you can buy a better (and quieter) pump and have an excuse.
Thanks for all your suggestions! Unfortunately the pump runs fine, I can see the clear housing with the screen in front of the pump and it just doesn't show water flow. Also, when I open the fresh water drain valve, water only trickles out.
I think I will have to try using (low) pressurized air and maybe driving around over railroad tracks, etc to jostle whatever's causing the block. My main worry is that this will only temperarily clear the block and it will re-occur when we're camping somewhere w/o a water supply.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a sewer-snake-like device that I might try? Again, a regular household snake is too rigid for the tight bend in this line plus it would be VERY unsanitary!
