for all you looking at that nice DP waiting for the bottom of the hysteria to grind to the ground the selling price - you're a week late Even though gas is such a fraction of real costs the emotions seem back to "enjoy life"
darn now the roads will be busier...

Gas is 3.83 here in Central Jersey and cheapest for diesel is 4.63....not going down here--at least not yet...and the stations are starting to play the cash/credit game...so I go the ones who have the older pumps that can't do it and use my amex costco and get 3 percent back.

Ok, crude oil was all time high of $146.00. Today closes around $125.00. That is a drop of nearly 15%. How many of you have seen a drop of 15% yet? That would take the $4 per gallon down to $3.40. Any of you seen a drop of 60 cents yet? Nope, I didn't think so. However, three weeks ago oil went from $140 to $146 (4%), and our local prices jumped from $3.81 to $3.97 (4%). I don't see why it takes so long for it to drop when oil drops! Happens every time....

The market is a delayed mechanism. The market price for oil today is for next month.
