Heading out in a couple of weeks for our anniversary trip to zion. My first question is .... are there grocery stores near by or should I load up the fridge at home? Second question...we would like to have a nice dinner on the night of our anniversary (that we don't have to cook)...any recommendations of a place to eat??

We were in Zion River Resort a couple of months ago, and the Lin's in Hurricane is the closest "full service" grocery store, about a 20-25 minute drive the the resort. There's a small market a little closer, but I think it was closed on Sunday when we drove by.

There's a hotel on the south side of town, on the east side of Hwy.9. I can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure someone can chime in. Anyways. It's a big complex, the restaurant is on the north end of the complex. On the east side of the restaurant is a sports grill. In the lobby is the only State liquor store east of St. George, unless you just want beer. But the restaurant there was really good!!! It's across from the Bit & Spur restaurant, here's a google map of the Unknown good restaurant in Springdale!
