I think you should just plan a trip asap and go enjoy your new rig and your family. Make as many memories with your kids as you can. If at the end of the season you decide you don't want the rv, the sell it. Go and enjoy it, I sure would.

I have to call this, because everytime we call "MOM" we are doing one of our own a disservice, as if moderators cannot do their job.
Never did the OP do anything but ask for advice. Maybe the next poster has the necessary answer.

Well we've been there and had those feelings now let's see, 4 times. With every RV purchase we've made, as a matter of fact. You aren't alone. It's scary but remember this, your wife wants this, you do too though you are running scared now, and your kids want it. What's changed? YOU are scaring yourself bigtime. Stop it! Stop doing that to yourself.
You talked your wife into looking at used, and that's what you got, USED. Chucked that one away, and now you have a brand new RV that you purchased. Relax and enjoy it. We sure love ours.
BTW, it'll all be just fine. I promise.
Leslie
May we all have safe travels.

Unfortunately "cold feet" and "being nervous" are not legal ways to get out of a binding contract.
You signed a contract, you bought yourself an RV. Quit beating yourself up over it. Life's too short and you have way too many fun camping memories to make to ruin what should be a happy time.
Enjoy the new RV.

"Buyer's remorse" is perfectly natural when you're spending a lot of money, especially in a tight economy, and you're not sure you're going to get value for that money. Well, I can tell you, don't worry about it, and don't be ashamed of it either. I bought my first (and only) RV 16 years ago, and have never regretted it. The enjoyment and pleasure it has brought me are literally priceless. Forget about the worries, and even about some of the advice you may have received. You and your family are set for years of fun, pleasure and bonding. There is nothing like the RV lifestyle. Enjoy!
