I think I'd mount that mail drop slot about 8 feet and 6 1/2 inches above the sidewalk and tell him thats where you want your mail delivered from now on....

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

He must be related to our's. If he has to get out of his truck, he won't deliver. We've filed several complaints with no luck.

Could this thread be just a little bit biased????

41 mail carriers were bitten by dogs in Dallas last year...just maybe, there are two sides. LOL

Oh, sure, I know "our dogs" don't bite. I've said the same thing...and then, guess what? Our dog bit someone. Go figure.

....I've searched the internet......not one instance of dogs shooting a mailman, or for that matter, another dog. This guy is a jerk, dog or no dog, as confirmed by several neighbors. My attempts to be friendly ceased today....

..and as for he ain't heavy....I'll still bend over to help someone, as a matter of fact I'm doing that with two right now who need it. A man has to know where to draw the line, and the line was drawn today. I'm fully capable on either side of that line..

There are jerks in all lines of work. Sometimes we meet them. What cha goin to do...

Sounds like he doesn't trust dogs. Too bad for him, however he could have had a bad experience.

....he certainly could have caused a bad experience. Unfortunately for him, every third storefront in my area has a dog. Champ just happens to be smarter than he, perhaps therein lies the problem..........
