We have a rear kitchen in our Jayco 25Z, and it's the best. Bounce is a small problem but easily solved with a few bungee cords.

We have a rear kitchen and love it. If you are grilling or eating outside, it is very handy to have a rear kitchen. Additional counter space is a plus. One bonus we hadn't anticipated - the view from our bed at the other end of the trailer through the back window above the kitchen sink. From our bed, we've been able to look out at city lights, a lake, Pacific Ocean in Malibu, the forest, etc. Makes the trailer seem longer with the great views we've had.

We chose our JayFeather 25F with rear kitchen because of the spaciousness in the "living room/kitchen" area. The slide also helps with the spaciousness. I have noticed that a few coffee cups in the upper rear cabinet over the sink do move around. This has been caused by rough city roads, not normal travel down the highway. If we were to do it again, we would probably do the same thing.

just tell them to enjoy it...

I have a front kitchen and like it for the same reasons others like the rear kitchen...

You might refer him to www.rvknowhow.com to read the Kieva's suggestions for how to select an RV.
Unless he asks for more help stay out of the decision. You should know by now that even though we parents always know best our offspring frequently ignore or, worse yet, object to `help'.
