This information comes to me from a current resident of a mobile home in Victoria Palms.
No real flooding took place. All buildings are intact
There was nobdy who was injured.
No trees were uprooted, however, there is palm bark and palm fronds everywhere.
Mobile home skirting was loosened from many homes and is askew.
A few homes lost roof shingles and many carports suffered damage.
Steve's corner was not checked by this person, nor was the lot across from it.
After the storm only a small portion of Margaret St had power. According to my source these folks get their power from Weslaco. The rest of the park has no power. It is very hot and humid and after two days without AC these folks left and are now in San Antonio. Nobody really knows when the power will come back on. AEP, the electric delivery company for part of the area, stated that there were 160,000 customers without power yesterday.
NO refrigeration, AC, Gas, street lights, traffic signals, etc. NOT the place to be right now.

Magic Valley Coop still is furnishing power to most of its customers. Our place still has power. Two blocks north is out and from not getting any email from friends there today I assume it is still off.
