If you have Dexter Axles you should use the camper frame and not the axles. Dexter says "Do not lift or support the trailer on any part of the axle or suspension system"

If you go to a tire shop, always stand and watch how they jack the TT. If they start to roll a floor jack under the middle of an axle stop them right there and make them lift on the frame or under a spring pad. For a flat, I just put a bottle jack under the spring pad, (the square piece of steel the U bolts go through) and lift that way. I know Dexter says don't lift with the axle but, I think most people do jack under the spring pad. You are lifting the weight at the same point the axle supports the spring.
