What a boring race. Running 10 laps or so then changing tires.

It's time to let Bridgestone tires into NASCAR. Goodyear tire company is still living in the past.

An absolute embarrassment to the Speedway....Ranks right up there with the F1 debacle of two years ago except worse...there's more people effected.

You think Nascar will step up and give the fans free tickets for next year's race like they did for the F1 race last year? Wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen now that France has the money in the bank.

It's about time that Tony George throws these chicken farmers out and brings in a good 24hour ALMS or Rolex race in it's place. Based on the empty seats in the stands it would probably draw about the same. It's not like the France family or ISC (one in the same) is doing Indycar any favors anyway on those track where Indycars try to stage an event.......

I got to believe that there's some people really nervous at Goodyear this morning.......I mean how could you have such a bad tire for an event when they just tested there a few weeks ago??? And it's not like it's the first time they've ever run there...they know what the track is......inexcusable on Goodyear's part.

So, boycot Goodyear. I've never bought a Goodyear tire, with possible exception of those that might've been on a vehicle I bought. I've got Michelins on all my street vehicles.
IMO those rock-hard tires that Goodyear brought to the Atlanta race, they would be just right for a track that's been diamond ground (like Indy).
It's a big advantage to experience these blunders on TV, as opposed to going to the racetrack. Look at all the money I saved....
The difference between you guys and me is that I fully expect people to screw up (you can always depend on them). I roll with the punch, and look forward to Pocono. For me, it'll be entertaining to see if Tony Stewart can stay in the top 12.

Oh don't get me wrong.....I totally blame Goodyear...Unfortunately Nascar will be found guilty by association.

My media friend who went to the track to cover the tire test said that there were only 3 cars involved in the test a few weeks ago. They would run 3 laps come in change tires go out and run 3 laps change tires..etc, etc,. Don't know what you learn from 3 lap runs...obviously not enough...

My sympathy is for my beloved Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the embarrassment it will be exposed to through no fault of their own.

I fear fans will blame IMS for not putting on a good event when in fact the fault lies with Goodyear.

I like you am glad I had none of my hard earned cash invested in this event...

I wouldn't call what we watched, yesterday, a race.

My grandson and I went to the race yesterday. The most exciting thing we saw yesterday was a fist fight between 2 "race fans". They were a few rows in front of us. Also when Denny Hamlin was leading late in the race a disgruntled "fan" threw a beer can over the fence and the can landed on the track. Guess where that can finally ended up?? That was that piece of trash on the front of Denny Hamlin's car. I witnessed this also. When Denny ran over that beer can, I thought that he would have a big tire blow-out and cause a major wreck. I'm glad that didn't happen and the the beer can just ended up stuck to the grille of his car.

We no longer spend the money to go to the races. Too many drunks and it's to expensive. Last race we went to a drunk tried to pull my DW's shirt up! I will not mention who it is but all the drunks seem to have the same driver in common. I would hate to know I paid for tickets to a tire changing event.

If Goodyear is the official tire of Nascar, why aren't teams getting the Goodyear tires for free?

I suppose the sponsorship money benefits Nascar itself and not the teams.
