Has anyone added a 2 or 3 step to their hybrid? I have a Jayco 26L with the lift and one step is just to high. Thanks

You might look at www.redi-step.com for an add-on step if you can't solve the problem any other way.
Camping World also sells portable steps that you set on the ground.

It's was proberly right in the middle of needing another step. Meaning if the manufactor had add another step it would have been a few inches off the ground. As Dick mentioned, just a folding add a step so when you in spot that is just to high you can use the add a step. It will also give you something else to go back for when you relize you forgot it.

To remove the existing step and install a new one would be a few hundred dollars. JMHO Bill

I didn't add a two or three step replacement, however I did build a set of steps from left over cedar from my deck replacement project a few years back.

They are very light and very strong. Easy pop into the back of the truck and used when needed.

This is what I made. It also serves as a great place to store the wheel chucks and stabilizer pads.">

I too have been searching for something and like the looks and function of the redi-step.com product. A little pricey though! At a lot of the campgrounds we've been, the campsite slopes away from the "trailer pad" area, making it next to impossible for my 4 year old to reach the step. And a reach for anyone who might be carrying anything else in/out of the trailer. We did purchase a small plastic step to put on the ground. This helps a ton but if the problem is due to the campsite slope, then anything we put on the ground is sloped also and generally unstable. Maybe I'll try slapping together a small wood platform that would be a bit heavier than the plastic stool.

I replaced the single step (Hickory Spring)With a 2-step Hickory Spring from camping world On our Jayfeather LGT. Had to modify and re enforce mounting area to fit up correctly, turned out nice.

Hey Steve,

Any pictures of that install of the two step? I wanted something like this for my Jayco 29A. Did you bolt these on over the same area as the OEM?

thx
