It's a color band sticker on the shocks. The shocks are optional. Do you have 2 shocks on the sides, in addition to the 4 air bags?

Our pin weight is 3,580. I run the Trailer Saver right around 60 PSI. That puts the mark just above the hitch frame.
BTW Dave, you need to take the pressure off before you unhitch or the hitch head will fly up when you pull away and can be damaged. I back in until the pin is in the V on the hitch head, then bring the head up (with air pressure) to contact the pin box, then back it in the rest of the way - works like a charm!
And I agree, best hitch on the market for my money

It's going to depend on your pin weight. We run 90 psi to take it to the mark.

Navychop: There may be some confusion here as you are referencing an AirSafe pedestal type hitch with 4 air bags and shock absorbers. While the O/P is enquiring about pressures related to a 32BH Trailersaver hitch that is a platform type, front hinged and supported by 2 airbags at it's rear, commonly without any shock absorbers.
Your type of hitch has the pivoting head and it's beam mount moving up and down within four posts with slider plates, four supporting airbags, one under each corner of the beam with shock absorbers controlling rebound rates.

No mine has 3 air bags and 1 shock.
I think you have a different brand hitch.

Yes, my bad. I looked at both brands before going with AirSafe- got the names mixed up. My apologies to all.

I was wondering what pressure the bags should be at?
Thanks
I agree with a few others in that there is no "Correct" pressure.
I have the in-cab gage where I can release air or add more to the bags while driving and will quite often release pressure when on bouncy roads because the trailer starts porpoising too much and it actually makes towing worse.
I usually fill the bags to around 45psi THEN hitch up which puts me pretty close to "the mark". Sure is easier and quicker filling the bags without all the weight on them.
I would suggest trying different pressure settings and see what is most comfortable to you.

I also agreee that there is no "correct" air pressure. It depends on how much your pin weight is. Add air to get the mark 1 - 1.5 inches above the base. Sandunesaddict, if you don't have a mark, you do need to call Hensley.
