Guess they don't have to worry about bugs that way? Treated and they were going to burn it on a camp fire

I do not think most people know how toxic treaded wood is. Some playgrounds have banned it and I thought it was going to be limited but that did not happen perhaps.

OP, we at Wal*Mart don't have this paid-entertainment you have at RV parks/CGs. What a circus. Nice story nonetheless.

I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

Personally if I was them I would have welcomed the advice. I always like getting tips from other RVer's, especially when starting out. I would have likely jumped in and offered advice to, some folks are just too bone-headed to take it.

What is with the rope lights, I don't understand some folks obsession to head out camping and then light the place up like mini Las Vegas. That's one reason we boondock a lot! But to each their own, if folks enjoy the lights, go for it.

It was a funny story, but the fact that they were burning pressure treated shows you were in a hopeless situation when it comes to giving advice!

People setting up camp is always entertaining. I have found that NO ONE wants unsolicited help setting up, so just grab a chair and watch.

I watched an adorable young couple with 2 kids and a cat trying to set up a brand new TT. Before it was over, the cat was out, the toddler was locked inside alone, the door key was broken off in the lock which they fell into the door, Dad was yelling at mom for breaking the key and the blue tote which he was hooking up before the toddler got locked up, started leaking as the baby kept flushing the toilet. While mom was trying to catch the cat, dad was trying to pry open a rear window, which then fell out, onto the ground and broke. That is when they realized that the older child had slipped away to the playset around the corner and mom had to go hunt her down. Then dad needed mom to give him a lift into the window because the step stool was inside too. Then he couldn't get out, because the door wouldn't open at all and the crying baby was passed through the window because she was in dad's way. Finally, he got the door open, saw the blue tote and started fussing some more. They started a fire a few feet from our propane tank, so I went outside to ask them to move the fire just in time to watch dad climb into the hammock which of course, slipped loose from the trees and fell to the gound.

I went inside, poured them 2 stiff shots of vodka and then helped them get the fire moved.

Later they came to my door to borrow a can opener, aluminum foil and a bowl. I enjoyed them all weekend. Such a cute little family having the time of their lives.

I welcome all advice anytime so feel free if you see me putting a show on. I was happy to get it when i pulled in to an unfamilar campground one night and couldn't find my site and set up in the dark for the first time.
