Does anyone put well water in their fresh water tank? Our house has well water that is treated. checking to see if it is ok to fill with well water (treated or untreated).
A neat devise to use when filling your fresh water holding tank is a contraption that screws into the inlet that has an attached funnel. It cost about $20.00 and was the best contraption I purchased for filling the tank when a hose is not available.
I’m sure any RV store should have it in stock if not OrangewOOd RV located in Surprise, AZ, carries this in stock.

On the question about well water.... If the water is not chlorinated, I would fill it but I would not store the water in their for any length of time. And, at the first opportunity, I would refill the tank and flush the lines with treated water. If the untreated water has been in there for more than a week or so, I think I would re-sanitize the tank and lines just to be safe.

Untreated well water is all we have where we camp. I just add 1/4 cup of bleach to my 30 gallon barrel before pumping the water into the trailer's tank. And although the well has been tested by the state we only use this water for washing and showering. Drinking water I bring from home.
