Galveston Island State Park about 3 years ago. Two guys in a van, about a 50" rear projection tv on the picnic table, a couple of coolers for drinks, two chairs. Ordered pizza a few times a day, watched tv outside all weekend. I figured it was a couch potato camp out.
I have a small Danby "portable" washing machine that I bought when I was at college...well, it's a front-loading washing machine on wheels that has a faucet connection to it. Well, I was staying seasonal at a campground in Deltaville. This was before I had a TT of my own, and was staying with the rest of the family. Well, Deltaville does not have any launtromat anywhere near it, and since we were staying a week, we needed a way to do laundry. I threw the little washing machine into my van, and carried it down with us. I put the drain hose into the blue tote, and connected the cold water valve up to the hose pedestal in camp...VOILA!!! we had our on laundromat! The washer swished away and we had clean clothes. Some of the other people in the campground stopped and stared at the washing machine as they saw all the suds bouncing around in the window as it sat under the awning!
Another thing I've done, that I don't think is so unusual now, but I have an LCD projector, and I've taken a sheet, hung a line between two trees, and thrown the sheet over it to make a screen for it...instant movie theater! I've gotten a campfire going with jiffy-pop, and it makes great entertainment!
Years ago a family near us in a tent had a six burner wood cookstove. I am not sure they even make those anymore. To clarify that, they slept in a tent and had the stove outside.
Saw the same thing last year at a state CG. Only it was sitting outside a older class A. When they left they shoved it in the door of the MH on its side and away they went. Looked like it was a common thing for them.

Not too crazy compared to others, but last year at our local State Park a bunch of "youngish" (late teens, maybe early twenties) folk set up a site away from us. The second night, they broke out the full drum set and guitars and played for quite awhile. At first, my wife and I groaned, BUT they kept the volume down and it wasn't "thrash" music. Turned out to be extremely enjoyable, and they shut everything down at 11pm.
Earlier this year, we camped with a group of EMS, nurses, and fire fighters and someone showed up with bagpipes. That was one of the neater things I've been a part of while camping... The bagpiper played 3 songs around 9:30pm. In the dark, that bagpipe sound carried all through the campground, and people came from all over to watch and applaud.
Portable laundry machine... many times I would have loved to have one!!

Last year at a COE campground a small group of tent campers brought along a couch, recliner, table, & lamp. It was quite a set up after they got their three tents up and unloaded their furnishings.

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some sort of battle.... Live simply, love wholly, give generously, care deeply, speak kindly.
A family pulled in a couple days ago with their trailer. I glanced over and they were putting the jacks down and hooking up water. Typical routine obviously. Then the guy systematically takes all 4 wheels off AND the spare, tosses all 5 tires in the pickup and drives off leaving the camper sitting there in the site on jacks with no tires. I really should have got a picture of that.
I just read 19 more reasons we don't stay in campgrounds.
