I know that this is one of those places like Branson that has been asked over and over, but what is your favorite campground in or around Eureka? We will be going in October. Thanks!

We stayed at "Wanderlust" a couple of years ago. Very well satisfied. You probably should call ahead.

Just got back from a week at the Kettle camp ground. Nice little camp ground but had a hard time getting my 35ft ft wheel in. I think it was built when campers were smaller. Would try wanderlust or the KOA on hwy 187 by beaver lake dam.

I just spent 11 days at TURPENTINE CREEK. If you love big cats you will love this place. Its 7 miles south of Eureka Springs on Highway 23. The campground is small but there was only one other camper there when we were there. They also have cabins, a store and lots of wildlife in the area. I hand fed some deer 2 different times. The folks that run the place are really nice and the campground is about 30 feet from 2 tigers and a lion. They have a total of 175 cats or so. They also have 2 adorable cubs that are about 2 months old and they are on display. Good luck and have fun where ever you go.

We have always stayed at the Wanderlust also, great people working there and convenient to everything. If you have a big unit, you will want to stay over on the ridge, sites 45 through 80, they have the most room. Another hint, ride the trolley whenever you can, parking downtown is a premium. Check out their website"www.wanderlustrvpark.com" and pick out a site.
