Summer has arrived here in northern Arkansas with highs in the mid-90s and a resulting heat index temperature of 110. We are ready to bail out for the next few weeks. Where's the closest, good RVing area with highs in the low to mid-80s for next few weeks? We like to fly fish, hike, and take pictures.

The Colorado high country... it's a bit of a trek.

Right now it is in the low 60's due to the cloud cover... usually mid to high 80's and dry. We might have popped the mercury into the low 90's a couple of days but our summer is essentaially over.

Nights are in the 40's... I had to put another blanket on the bed over the weekend.

Nice wether here, but not the best place for fly fishing, hiking or photography (LOL)

Glacier NP. Also a haul.

You'll need not only greater latitude, you'll need altitude, and you'll need to be west of the 100th meridian to see enough drop in the humidity to make things more comfortable. Sorry.

The high today in Fairbanks AK is expected to be 61. High in San Francisco is 56. CA sounds good and is closer than AK

I vote for MT Pisgah 15 miles south of ashville NC EL. 2300 ft
and cool . the blue berries should be ripe for picking all along the
trails ( the bears like the berries also)
Bring your fly rod to catch some brook trout.
The camp ground is next to the Lodge where you can a meal and look out the windows at the blue ridge Mt,s
It is on the parkway but no hook up's

Check out our location, 83 today, 45-50 tonight and excellent fishing. That is why we have our own lot here at the 5000' elevation of the western mountains.
