Hello all...Im new here. Looking at buying a toyhauler this weekend. Went out to my local dealer and looked at the KZ MXT 20 and the MXT 26. Both are laid out great...my only dilemna is that the 20 foot will not fit 4 sport quads where the 26 will. I have a half ton crew cab silverado, the guys at the dealer tell me it will be sufficient but I have my doupts. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. We plan on hauling from KC area to Waynoka Oklahoma. If I have the option of fitting one more quad id like to have it but I am just afraid it will be to much for my Silverado. Any thoughts?

What's the towing capacity of your truck?
What's the empty and gross trailer weights?

My brother in law has a 26' Funrunner that weighs in at approximately 6500 lbs loaded. He pulls it w/a 1/2 ton silverado w/5.3 V8. It does fine on the flats - similar to what you'd experience in the midwest - but does work really hard in the mountains of the west. I think you'll be fine although you might want to add overload springs depending on how things go.
Good luck...

I owned the 08 MX20 and was very easy to tow with 1/2 ton ram.My load was 2 800 lb 4/4 quads.I think you would be fine with the 26 because of your light sport quads and with 4 people you will need the extra space. The small bath room might bother you but these are good trailers for quads.

thanks for the replies. Went ahead and bought the MXT26 and absolutely love this toyhauler. We look around for three months trying to find one that would suit our needs and think this is one of the best out there. Granted, yes, the bathroom is VERY small, but the living space is perfect. The outdoor speakers and canopy make it a great time. I can easily fit all 4 quads in there and the truck pulls it ok. I can see myself looking into a 3/4 ton diesal in the near future though. The silverado does struggle a little going up hill. Other then that I think this is one of the best atv toy haulers out in the market.

I'm guessing you purchased from Nationwide. I hope you're happy with your KZ. Our is 4 months old and has been in the shop over a month now. Our first run to Waynoka generated a huge lits of problems with it. I also hope you have better luck with KZ. Every one I've talked to there is worthless!

what kind of problems have you had with it? We've only used it once and the only real problem we had was the canpopy not closing all the way
