I did find a local dealer with a used HiLo that was fairly reaonable, we are going to look at it Saturday. We are pretty well set on a Hi Wall to get the hard sided shower/toilet. Also the Fleetwood has a 'regular' holding tank system instead of a cartridge and that is a big plus. We found a couple of those and are looking Saturday also. Thanks for all the thoughts, there are a few we hadn't considered.
I also forgot to mention we have 3 Siberian Huskies that travel with us. We got the third this week, we belong to a rescue and all that was supposed to happen was a simple transport from W.Va. to Breezewood. The next leg of the transport fell through and silly me said "we can keep her until this weekend". Like my wife was going to let her go. Now we are rethinking downsizing so the HiLo may be a good idea.

You might want to look at the Hi-Lo floor plans on their website before you get too excited. Only the largest models have real beds, the others only have dinettes/couches that you have to convert to beds every night. There are no pullouts on a Hi-Lo, the box size you have is all you get. A Trail-Manor, OTOH, at least as real beds.

On the Hi-Lo models starting with 24T and up they do have what they call a tip-out. It's equivalent to a slide-out on a regular TT. A TM, OTOH, by design, cannot have a tip/slide-out. All TM models do not have a permanent bed - meaning you can't fold the shells in & down with any kind of mattress pad, sheets, pillows, etc. You cannot leave those items in place as you would with a non-folding TT. Also, TM's require more setup and more maintenance than a Hi-lo.

Sorry, TM does have permanent beds, they don't have to be converted from a dinette or couch in order to be able to sleep on them. Just because you can't store the linens on them doesn't mean they aren't permanent beds! Make them once at the start of the trip and unmake them at the end, no conversion. Sounds permanent to me!

And to me a permanent bed is one that does not have any other use except as a bed. I have 2 permanent beds in my popup and a dinette that can be converted to a bed. I don't have 0 beds and I don't have 3 beds, although I can have 3 if needed.
