There are just some people who think the world "Owes" them. I've been to several rallies (from 20 to 200 rigs) and have yet to experience actions as described. Now with me and my attitude, I'd be in the middle of somebody's "stuff" in a minute. There is just NO excuse for actions/attitudes like this. We have a great time, have been known to get a little loud (usually around Happy Hour), but never to the extent described above.

They can be even more entertaining if you mess with them.

Rudeness is never appropriate. We have club outings, and we've been to an Escapade, but I've never seen this kind of behavior either.

In every crowd there is always one horses hind end and I think you found him or her.
We camp with a group called Texas Boomers and we are often commented on how well we all get along and are so helpful to any one whether they are part of our group or not.

That's the way it should be. Selfish people make fools of themselves.

We have encountered rude complaining people in a rally. People that want to take over the rally, people that complain about everything! people that don't bring food or help at the pot lucks but eat as much as everyone. Or "Know it all's" They been everywhere, done everything and know this campground better than anyone!
Most all of the rally's we have been, have had very very nice people.

Well said "coolbreeze". Even though I try not to take others' inventories....sometimes it's just WAAAAYYY too easy!
There's an old saying:
"As we go through the day and we become 'agitated' or 'doubtful', we pause and ask for the next 'right' thought or action."
Unfortunately, sometimes my thought is that someone needs the living s**t choked out of them. Thankfully, this "old-idea" can and does pass.
Another old saying:
There's always that 10% that "don't get the word" huh?
Enjoy the journey....

I have witnessed more poor manners with rallies than good. It just seems to materialize when people group, the herd mentality. The one thing I have noticed the most and it irritates me. They tend to park their tow vehicles or toads in the middle of the c/g street and converse with other members of their rally. They ignore the right of passage of other campers.

Thanks for all the great replies. I guess being in a rally or park with "neigbors" that are making your stay unpleasant is something that happens all the time and in all geographic locations. The good thing is that your stay is short and then you can move away from undesirable "neighbors." This isn't something that's so easy to do when you have undesireable neigbors at your brick and mortar house.
Everyone take care and have a great time RVing!!!

Hey, we've been to those same type rallies. Do you think we attended the same ones?
It mainly happened in a brand-specific club and they gave the term "old poops" a new name. I've always said they are obviously very unhappy people, who probably have been unhappy, greedy and self-centered all their lives.
