Whew! That video was really scary. I just finished installing a fire supression system for the engine and genny (http://www.firefight1.com/).
Cost about $350, and I hope I never have to use it.

On what type rig did you install the supression system?

Their site is informative.

This equipment really does not cost as much as some needless gadgets we buy for our MH's. A screw drive is about the only tool one may need.

A recent journalism grad with no experience cannot be expected to differentiate things like that.

Don't know how you tow anything with a mobile home?

News media reported it as a MOBILE HOME, not motorhome.

When I saw the name of the paper I knew they had it wrong. When I lived there we used to call the paper The Despert Dispatch.

Mention was made of ammo exploding in burning MH. What is the velocity of ammo going off in a fire? Is it deadly or just like a firecracker?

don it is deadly if in the chamber when it explodes and the reason I do not like to have a loaded gun in the house with a bullet in the chamber. Not in the chamber the shell tends to move and the load stays in place. Not good but it is better to get hit by a flying shell casing vs. a heavy lead slug.
