Has anyone adjusted their slideouts on their own? I have a 2005 Fleetwood Tioga sl and the slide is looking to be a little out of whack. (much less gap on one side.) It is starting to rub a little when I extend it. Any input on how to adjust?

I tried adjusting mine and hurt my back in the process, really.
That thing is heavy and some of the adjustments require jacking up the slideout. In my MH (Gulfstream/Class C w/ Equalizer slideout), I had a bar going all the way along the slideout for horizontal adjustments. The vertical adjustments were found where the room attached to the slideout mechanism.

My advise is that you take it to a dealer and have them adjust it as soon as possible. I waited a long time, researched the heck out of it on how to adjust it, made an attempt at making the adjustment, made things worst and finally my hydraulic motor gave up on me. If the thing is out of alignment, your motor may be working harded than needed and could give up on you as well.

Good luck.

Mike
