I own a 2003 workhorse chassis w22 . The Led read out on the dash has become unreadable . I have had it sent out to Workhorse for repairs and have been informed that they will not cover it . I spoke with Workhorse and they just feel that 2 years out of warranty is to much .
I can not even tell how many miles are on the coach.
My opinion is that this is a main function that has had problems before and they should at least cover a portion of it .I even suggested they cover 50% or Even 40% a goodwill gesture .
They flat out said no and that it will cst me over $500.00 to repair.
Workhorse must have spent a fortune on replacing/repairing Activa displays over the years. Sounds like they have "had it" in dealing with the problem. Unfortunately, some customers will suffer. My unit was in the shop for a month in order to get the display replaced. When it works, the display is great. But when it doesn't, it's a danger because important info like oil pressure and road speed aren't available. I think they are going to lose some customers over this.
