This was the CG in Michigan City, IN from our last trip. CG was sold out, fortunately we had a reservation, and the last site available was next to the cabin.

After I ran the tongue jack out, I dropped the front stabilizers to hold it, then retracted the tongue jack and added the Lynx blocks and a pair of 2x4's. I had to borrow the two cinder blocks under the front stabilizers from the CG office! The stabilizers wouldn't reach the ground without them! I don't recall ever having to go this far up in the air before!!
The bottom step was up to my knee and DW had trouble "climbing in" without the step stool!

Never know when one may end up on a very unlevel site. That's why I always carry lots of lumber. Be glad the office had the concrete blocks!
Part of the fun of camping is overcoming challenges, just like this!

i've seen bad b4 but that one takes the cake. on unlevel sites like that, 2 doors helps. usually one is close to ground level. glad you worked around it.

That's the kind of problem you'd expect to find in the mountains but not in the flats.

Wow, I think I need to carry more blocks incase I come upon a site like this. 2 bags of lynx levelers isn't going to cut it.

I could deal with the unlevel site but not being that close to a camper cabin. Wow. I like more privacy when I camp.

At least you have a TT and not a motorhome. Imagine having to have your front tires that high in the air. I always envy trailer owners when parking in sloping sites.

We moved!! No more nasty neighbors, no more rotten parking. I am saving this picture just to remind myself how bad it was.

There's a reason we carry 4 bags of Lynx levelers. Hate to admit it, but we got to 4, 1 bag at a time.
