If it's in good shape that's a pretty darn good price.

Being located in Flint MI, be concerned about rust.

Have you looked at PPL much closer to your home-- they are in Houston. I was there last week on business and they had a LOT of DP's in that price range.

That's a very good price on a very good coach---wish I could find one close for that price. I was at PPL earlier this month but most diesels were higher priced---found a '94 Country Coach for $45,000 that had been well taken care of, most in that price range were not taken care of. I'm going back in a couple of weeks to look again in person because the online photos make them look better than they are.

If I was interested in this mohome- I would ask for some pictures of the chassis and if there is just light rust then I would invest in a ticket to fly there and look at it as it is an extremely good price.
I bought a 96 monaco that was in Mo. for all it's life and there was only light rust on some of the chassis that wasn't covered with undercoating.
Go for it and good luck.

Looks like a great deal. For that good of a price, I would either fly or drive up there to check it out. Check the ceiling for any water stains. Unless the tires were changed recently, you should factor in the cost of 6 new ones. Climb up on the roof and check the caulking along the seams. Make sure you test all the equipment, air conditioners, furnace, refrigerator, hot water heater, generator, hydraulic jacks, etc.
Open and close every drawer door and window.
Ask to see the maintenance records.
You could put several thousand dollars in that DSDP, after you buy it and still be way ahead.

I have not been inside one of these coaches but the description shows it has almost all of the features of a '97 40ft Holiday Rambler Navigator I bought in May for $88K. Same engine, transmission and similar layout for a much lower price. I think you found a good deal if it checks out mechically. Newmar seems to have a great reputation.

Best of luck to you.

Probably, our 2000 DSDP ha a fiberglass roof but as I remember 2000 was the first year that Brite Tek was offered so you're probably right.
The Brite Tek carries a 12 yr warranty, the fiberglass is one year.
