If you join Camping World's Presidents Club to get the discounts your mail box will be filled with JUNK MAIL from Good Sam Club and many others. I have also found that many of the SPECIAL prices are equal or higher than can be had anywhere else. I have had no problems with what I have gotten from them and the service was good, it just annoys me greatly when these companies get your name and sell it.

I "opted out" under my profile and I rarely get any junk mail from them at all. As always, you've got to be a smart consumer and shop around to find the best deal.

I agree, but it is what most retailers do now to improve the bottom line. As for "special prices", well, what can I say? Just do your homework. On the other hand, I found Wal-Mart charges more for the 25 ft thirty amp power cord than Camping World. Also slightly higher prices for sewer connections. But, a portable table was cheaper at Sam's Club than Camping World. Good luck. JMHO

It is hard to tell where junk mail comes from but I don't get any that I can tie to my PC membership, other than their sale announcements.

There's just something I hate about paying for a club membership to get a discount. I try my hardest to shop elsewhere to get the rv stuff I need and get alot of satisfaction when I don't buy from CW.

And no, I'm not a member of Sam's or Costco either.

I can tell you guys that your local dealer can do you a decent job buy offering you a 10% discount, all you have to do is ask. I did and I found that the stuff I buy from them is cheaper than CW's club price, and no shipping charges.

I know what you mean. I was a member of an insurance company. Had to pay $25.00 membership just to be able to BUY their insurance policies. I finally got my head together and left them standing in their tracks.

I dont get any junk mail from them either, I do get a lot of subscription forms, but I called them up and told them to send me ONLY renewal notice only. so you can request a stop order.
As for there prices, some are high, and some are low, but most of the stuff you need for your RV is in one spot too, less running around. as others said you can go to another store, or order on line and pay for shipping, which makes the item as much or more than CW.
