First, if you don't have a secondary email account to receive the "junk" at, then open one. Hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc all offer "free" email addresses. All you have to do is go there once a month or so and clean it all out, which does not mean read it...just delete them all.

Second, CW offers what they offer. If you don't like their offer, go elsewhere. However, with the price of gas as it is...perhaps the closest store might be the best overall price.

Can you find me a Gen-turi for less than CW's $129 and free shipping?

??? OP said mail, not e-mail or spam. You know, mail like in U.S.P.S., U.S. Post Office, Mail Man, the guy in the blue suit. There still is such a thing today. They bring it to your house in person.

Oh, CW said that they would send me my new President's Club Card that way and I have not seen that yet. Guess I will have to call again

Come on, think positive! I use all that junk mail as kindling for my camp fires! It's free! Thank you Camping World!

I've had good experiences with Camping World's pricing. Nearly everything I've bought there with my President's club discount has been far cheaper then anywhere else. I bought a couple things at Wal-Mart . . . like a water hose. Sure it was $3.00 cheaper then Camping World but coiling that thing up is like wrestling with an angry, epileptic cobra. Wal-Mart is overpriced for things like electrical connections, etc. too. I have found local dealers accessories to be terribly over-priced. I'll buy from them if it is urgent but otherwise it goes on the CW list for when I go to see my parents and drive right by the showroom.

This thread has strayed off topic but my shopping experience at CW has been totally positive. Aside from big-ticket items their prices are reasonable and competitive overall. If you shop selected items you can often find them a little cheaper elsewhere but the difference is offset by the convenience of one-stop shopping at CW. I have never seen another retail store that has anywhere near the selection of RV products they have on the shelves.

The reason I know all the junk mail (USPS) is from CW is that any time I sign up for something like this I always change something in my name or address. Such as an incorrect middle initial or an A after my address number. Mail sorting is easy, every item with middle initial Q,W,X,Z etc. hit the trash without opening.
Why is it that when I was younger, Junk Mail didn't bother me so much?

There you go!
I get a pretty good discount on my Rv/Auto insurance for belonging to an RV Association (CW Pres. Club is on the list?) and once in a while CW has something I want on sale that's actually a good price. If you don't save enough to cover your "membership" I think they will refund your fee. If you wait for the third or fourth "Final" notice for renewal you can renew at half price and get a free "gift".
I don't mind the junk mail, our birds love reading it on the bottom of their cage..

Three years ago when I owned a travel trailer I replaced the Parallax converter with the solid state model. Local RV dealer wanted $279. Camping World: $254, and with the President's Club discount I paid about $228. The savings more than paid for my PC membership that year.
Oh yeah ... Walmart didn't even stock the item, DOH!
