I have been a member of the President's Club for several years and have never received a piece of junk mail or any other piece of mail from them other than renewal notice.

there is more trash about CW in these forums then CW ever mails out...

I have done well shopping at CW and recovered the dues many times over each year... the problem I have is, I have over bought or impulse bought due to some attractive prices they have had...

I shop at WM and dealers also but seldom on-line, most of the time I can find what I want in-store for less than the on-line + shipping prices...

to me there is nothing worse than waiting for days and getting the wrong or a broken item and having to repackage and wait longer for a exchange...

value isn't determined solely on price...

I get about 5 ads per week as a result of joining the Presidents Club. Sometimes there is something being advertised I need, and at a good price. Otherwise I just hit "delete" and get on with my life...takes .5 seconds.

I can feel your pain. We finally dropped out. Still got the junk mail. Tried to stop it. No luck.

If you think junk mail from Good Sam is bad just try joining AARP. I tried for years to stop it. I sent them emails, I sent them letters, I called them. It seemed to give them incentive to send more. We moved and left no forwarding address. AAhhhhhhhhhhhh, finally peace. It also stopped junk mail form Camping World.

I do not understand why they send that stuff out. They know most of us hate it. What kind of customer service would want to make enemies of their customers?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Well... You see, Affinity group (Camping World, Good Sams and a few other things) knows we RVers call it Camping, and one feature of camping is the evening camp fire.. So they want to make sure we have plunty of TINDER to start the fire with.. Thus they send it out by the basket full

We joined the Presidents Club when we bought our MH in May and the only "junk" mail we receive, is the usual fliers from Camping World.
In actuallity, I was looking for something online, and CW, even without the Presidents discount, was cheaper than some of the other places I found.
The only mail we get from GS is the monthly mag from them.
Maybe we re just lucky.

But, a portable table was cheaper at Sam's Club than Camping World. Good luck. JMHO
But it cost you a lot more to join Sam's Club. And you can't even make a purchase there without joining. At least you can at Camping World.
Oh, they finally sent me that card and now they are closing the closest store. Go figure.
