Forgot to mention that with DPTuners Chip you can change your settings on the fly. Don't think you can do that with the Edge and Hypertech Programmers. I had a coworker that had the Edge Programmer with the nice display and even in the highest mode he couldn't keep up with Jody's 80 Econo tune.

I have the Edge J/A. You can change settings "on the fly". I am new to diesel and have nothing with which to compare in the past. I only drove it for 300 miles stock before having the Edge installed. It certainly has more power now...yet to compare MPG. I'm not interested in "keeping up" with anyone...just towing and whatever economy I can get. I have yet to tow, still doing some mods (suspension and tranny cooler). I've read a lot about Jody and the DP. A lot of these posts seem to be from veteran diesel drivers who seem to know what they are talking about. I admittedly do not so went with the recommend of a highly regarded local diesel performance shop.
The only complaint I have thus far, and I've mentioned this on other posts, is that the higher settings (4-5) set off my Service Engine Soon light and there does not seem to be any ready, inexpensive fix for this. The fact that there is not really any problem (P1211 code) does not quite offset the annoyance. Still working on this.

Yes, I know about the HPOP fix. That's why I mentioned that there does not seem to be an "inexpensive" fix. "Big Oil" is around $2500 as I understand. The new single pump being talked about, the Stealth pump, will be around $1500 as I have read. Maybe someday. That's a lot of $$$$ just to get rid of a dash light. I am getting a code reader just to make sure that's all it is.

It could also be from over boost. I installed the overboost annilator and solved my problem. You can get from ITPDIESEL.com.
