I have noticed Nissan is offering, discounts as much as $14K, off the sticker price, on their Titan pick-up. The program is not being publicized and some dealers deny the discounts are available. So you need to check around. Big discounts are also happening on Frontier and SUVs. It's about time in my view, considering gas prices.
Nissan and Toyota make a V6 truck, that's rated to tow 6500 lbs. But still gets 15 city and 20 hwy....not too bad.
They seem like good trucks. I think everyone's taking a beating in the truck/suv market. So, I'm sure there are some great deals out there. You just need to kick over some stones.
Happy trails!!

My truck is rated to tow much more than this, and I regularly get 20 MPH solo an better. You have to drive around 45-55 MPH an let the truck coast to a stop when possible.

The Nissan Frontier was madeover recently, and is now built on the same chassis as the Titan. Altho rated as a compact truck, it's really not! It can indeed tow 6500 lbs! The V-6 is state of the art, powerful, efficient and smooth. The interior is rated as one of the most comfortable, roomy and well made in the industry. It has all the safety stuff that makes it rated high in crash tests. US World and News rates it #2! I really want to like it, but the styling needs to be refreshed first.

That sounds like a good plan to help both companies. I love Nissan but am not emotionally equipped to drive a Dodge but might fake myself out if it was called a Nissan.
Huge discounts like those are great if one is in that area. They tend to be highly localized. But for the record, Nissan is offering $5,000 cash back nationally.......and then of course depending on location the dealership will take even more money off of sticker.
Some Nissan dealerships are offering a "free" Versa with purchase of a Titan!
Conversely, be wary of the dealerships (not just Nissan) that offer super-low ball trade-in offers to help offset their hit on the new vehicle.
