I don't remember the name but there is a nice park west of boomtown at Verdi. it's another casino park. I have not stayed there but we took a walk around it last time in Reno. It looked nicer and was cheaper than boomtown. boomtown is OK and there is a free shuttle to the casino and cabelas.

The campground mentioned above with no name is Gold Ranch about 4 miles west of Boomtown on I-80 they are both about 15 to 20 mins. from downtown Reno in Reno its self there is the Grand Sierra, the old KOA,ok park for being in town,in Carson City there is Silver City RV Resort, about 2 miles south of junction Hwy 50 and 395,Comstock Country RV Resort right at the junction of Hwy 50 and 395,Pinon Plaza Hotel & RV Park on Hwy 50 east side of town the Carson City parks are listed in my preference order. Have fun

Gold Ranch in Verdi is a good park, about 20 minutes out of Reno as said earlier. As far as KOA at Boomtown, Cabella's must be embarrased having it near them!
